Macra plea to government

MACRA na Feirme president Thomas Honner called on the Government to do everything in its power to ensure that young farmers get a fair deal under the single farm payment regime.

He said a number of imminent ministerial decisions regarding the new regime must be made in favour of young farmers. There was still over €100 million worth of funds to be allocated and these must be given to young farmers.
