THE 87 members of the ICMSA National Council will meet at Limerick on December 20 to vote for their incoming president, with the result announced immediately afterwards.

Tipperary man Jackie Cahill, Deputy President of the ICMSA for the past four years, and former chairman of the ICMSA National Dairy Committee was the only declared candidate up to the weekend for the leadership of the organisation.

But North Cork man Dominic Cronin, the Chairman of ICMSA’s National Dairy Committee, entered the fray this week.
