Hobby farm available in Clonmel
The 23-acres-holding at Clerihan, Co Tipperary, is smashing ground, all in grass at present, says P F Quirke.
Close to New Inn, Poulmucka and Clonmel, it’s been tilled for a number of years, and would be suitable as an add-on, a hobby farm or equestrian centre, he says.
It will probably make in the region of €300,000 or about €13,000 per acre, predicts Mr Quirke, adding that “it’s good money for that, as there’s not an inch of waste other than one small pond.”
The same agent is selling another, larger farm at Tinakelly and Knockelly, near Fethard, and says this is an executors‘ sale.
It has ‘magnificent’ road frontage, he says, all in one block with 40 acres under tillage and the remainder under grass.
The agent gives a guide price in the region of €9,000 per acr for this property, three miles from Fethard and within two miles of Drangan and Cloneen.
This farm also goes for auction on November 15.
