IFA issue REPS warning

IFA has advised farmers who had reduced stocking levels in order to comply with REPS in 2000, 2001 or 2002, to appeal their Single Farm Payment provisional entitlements.

National Rural Development Chairman Padraic Divilly said they can appeal under “force majeure” to have a year or years not affected by the REPS commitments used to calculate entitlements.
