95 acre farm close to North Cork village of Ballydesmond
The farm, part of an executor’s sale, is adjacent to Ballydesmond village. The land is all under permanent pasture and is of fairly good quality, with lots of road frontage, says Ms O’Keeffe.
A lot of maps have been sent out so far, indicating a good deal of interest but, as most of the farmers in the locality are part-timers, the land could also be bought for forestry.
While Ms O’Keeffe would not give a guide price, land in the area would be valued somewhere between €3,000 to €3,500 per acre.
