A SECOND national farming organisation has called on dairy processors to open their books for inspection of dairy processing costs, before inflicting any further milk price reductions on farmers.

ICMSA President, Pat O'Rourke has claimed time is up for processors who continue to hide behind a "market sensitive information" mask.

With IFA leader John Dillon also challenging processors to "open your books", and show farmers their actual cost of processing a gallon of milk, farmers on the boards of dairy co-ops are under strong pressure to comply.
