A COUPLE whose dairy farm overlooks Dungarvan Bay in Co Waterford are the overall winners of the Glanbia Quality Milk Supplier Award 2002.
Hurleys reap rewards of a quality-driven farm

Neil and Joan Hurley, who run a 50-cow spring herd with an average yield of 1,300 gallons per cow, were presented with their Glanbia Crystal Churn Award at a function in Kilkenny by Minister of State Liam Aylward.

They supply milk to Glanbia's Kilmeaden Cheese Plant and Glanbia's Ingredient Plant at Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny. Their farm is quality assured under the Glanbia Farm Quality Assurance Scheme.
