Cut car test wait lists says Seandun
Spokesperson Josephine O’Connell, from the Whitechurch Macra club, said provisional drivers are seriously disadvantaged in rural areas, where the only transport option is usually a private car.
She said that a Macra delegation will shortly meet the Minister for Transport and will demand a driving test waiting period of no longer than six weeks.
“A detailed plan is required for which the Minister can be held accountable. Aspirational promises are just not good enough at this stage”, she said.
