IFA report unchanged pig prices

PIG prices are unchanged this week, ranging from 136 cent to 144 cent per kg, according to IFA, who report steady demand at all factories and forward prices of up to €1.40/kg on offer from October to March.

Export Plants: On a flat rate basis, mostly 140 cent to 143 cent/kg net at Dawn, and 136 to 142 on offer at Glanbia. Welfare pigs average €1.45 to €1.48/kg.

Pork Slaughterers: demand steady this week and prices unchanged, ranging from 136 cent to 142 cent/kg.
