Residential farm has guide price of €1.3m

TOM SHEAHAN of Buttevant is selling a 130-acre farm at Knockardfree, one of the biggest farms to come on the market for a while in this area of North Cork. The land is mostly good quality, he says, and with a bit of work and re-seeding would make very good quality grazing ground.

This is a residential sale, with a traditional, two-storey farmhouse and yard, and some modern facilities.

However, the house will need to be improved, says Mr Sheahan, although it appears to be structurally very sound.

It’s due up for auction on December 7, and depending on how the bidding goes, it could be a very happy Christmas for the vendors.

Mr Sheahan gives a guide price of €1.3 million.
