Big crowds expected for top event

Tullamore: Ireland’s top livestock show, to be held on 150 acres of the Charleville Estate in Tullamore, Co Offaly, on Sunday, is expected to attract over 40,000 visitors.

It will have a record prize fund of €138,000 with 900 classes and 40 national titles to be decided as well as 300 trade stands and exhibitions.

The annual celebration of country life combining Tullamore Show and the AIB national livestock show will attract the country's top cattle and sheep breeders.
