Strong interest in Dromard

ALL the pre-auction interest for Dromard House in Templemore, Co Tipperary came from serious farmers.
Strong interest in Dromard

The 253 acre property sold prior to auction for joint agents, Harriet Grant of Ganly Walters and Tony McInerney of McInerney Auctioneers for a sum believed to be in excess of the guide price of 2.5 million and the status buyers weren’t really interested, he said.

Dromard is a farmhouse, and while it has pedigree, dating from the 1700s, it’s not really a period residence in the ‘Big House’ style, said Mr McInerney. However, the land is perfect for farmers, all in one block and easily managed, he said, with 150 acres described as top class arable land, and 73 acres under forestry.
