Prices hold despite market slippage

EASIER demand due to a quieter export trade hit the hogget trade of the past week. Supplies to factories and marts eased, and the mart trade held up pretty well.

There has not been much change in factory quotes, but fewer quoted for hoggets, due to the quieter demand.

Base prices at factories killing Tuesday were 372 to 370 cents/kg (132 or 133p/lb).
