Dairygold board appointments

DAIRYGOLD announced yesterday former secretary general of the Department of Agriculture and Food John Malone and former managing partner of Arthur Andersen, chartered accountants, Adrian Burke are to join the co-op’s board.

It follows a rule change approval by shareholders to co-opt up to two non-society members to the board.

Chairman John Walsh said the appointments are a very progressive move by Dairygold he was certain will be widely welcomed by shareholders.
