This is a big weekend in the Allianz Hurling League but I have a problem with it.

I fancied one of the Division 1A games would be a draw this week and I was right, with Clare and Galway finishing all square in Ennis.

Credit where it is due, I think the GAA have got this league format right.

Before I go into the two teams, I want to talk about the referee yesterday, Barry Kelly.

A good game at Semple Stadium yesterday, a good win for Clare but what I found most surprising is it seemed that the Clare support outnumbered Tipperary. Why was that? It comes down to confidence.
