At last some courageous senators in the United States are questioning the many extra-judicial killings being carried out by Israeli forces against Palestinian young people.

I am amazed that once again we are getting ripped off with this new system of rounding up & yet we are just allowing it to happen. Today I was in three different supermarkets & each one basically stole my money.

How ironic that when you have a front page article about the dangers of ‘cyberchondria’, you also have on your inside pages a separate item informing readers about a website relating to symptoms, etc, for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS ).

On the 100th anniversary of the Rising have we substituted the British flag for the EU one with a €200bn government debt. We have lost our financial independence and the ability to govern ourselves.

Make a pledge, but not one that limits speech

Sadly, the Muslim peace body launching an anti-extremism declaration and asking foreign speakers to sign a statement promising to limit their speech in certain ways is actually seeking to limit free speech. Free speech is a dominant tenet of a free, democratic society.

From news reports it appears that many of the Tyrrelstown tenant victims of the Beltany ‘vampire squid’ are immigrants. Peter Sutherland was for many years the chairman of Goldman Sachs International, of which Beltany is a subsidiary.
