The use of Artificial Intelligence in Irish workplaces has surged significantly, with a “cultural shift” in how the technology is adapted, new research from Ibec indicates.

The use of Artificial Intelligence in Irish workplaces has surged significantly, with a “cultural shift” in how the technology is adapted, new research indicates.

Employer representative group Ibec said there is growing demand among employees for AI-related training. Ibec research reported that in July 2025, 40% of employees reported using AI in their workplace tasks compared with 19% in August 2024. The use of AI in specific roles rose from 12% in 2024 to 33% in 2025.
