Apple Watch Series 9 is available for order starting today, with availability commencing on Friday, September 22.
1. Powerful S9 SiP: The Series 9 is powered by Apple's custom S9 SiP chip, delivering improved performance and new features. It includes a double-tap gesture, on-device Siri with health data access, and a 4-core Neural Engine for faster machine learning tasks while maintaining an 18-hour battery life.
2. Double Tap Gesture: A new double-tap gesture enhances usability, allowing users to perform common actions with one hand without touching the display. From controlling apps to answering calls, this gesture streamlines interaction.

4. On-Device Siri: Siri requests can now be processed on the watch itself, providing quicker and more reliable responses for tasks that don't require internet access. Users can also access health data via Siri.
5. Precision Finding and HomePod Integration: Series 9 features a second-generation Ultra Wideband (UWB) chip for Precision Finding, aiding in locating a misplaced iPhone. It also offers deeper integration with HomePod, allowing media playback control near a HomePod.
6. watchOS 10: The Series 9 runs watchOS 10, featuring redesigned apps, Smart Stack, new watch faces (including Snoopy and Nike Globe), Bluetooth connectivity for cyclists, Compass Waypoints, and tools to support mental health.
7. Carbon Neutral Models: Select combinations of Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and Apple Watch SE are Apple's first carbon-neutral products, significantly reducing their carbon footprint through innovation and design. Packaging is also eco-friendly.
8. Bands: Apple introduced environmentally friendly bands, such as FineWoven and redesigned Sport Loops with recycled materials.
Apple Watch Series 9 starts at €449.
Apple Watch SE starts at €279.
Bands are available for order on Apple's website and in stores from September 22.
