Stripe teams up with Twitter in renewed crypto payments push

Creators on Twitter will be able to receive payments initially in the stablecoin USD Coin whose value is tied to the US dollar

Stripe, founded by Limerick brothers John and Patrick Collison is one of the world's most valuable startups.

Ireland and US-based payments company Stripe is stepping up its return to cryptocurrencies.

Stripe said that its first partner in the expansion will be Twitter, allowing a select group of creators on the social-media platform to get crypto payments via the Stripe Connect platform.
