Report claims Vodafone pulls out of 3G

Reports today claim Vodafone has decided not to accept the third-generation mobile phone licence it was awarded in Ireland.

Vodafone may now be excluded from using the licence after failing to pay €44.4m to the telecoms regulator by last night’s midnight deadline.
