Star Wars: Battlefront 2 out holiday 2017
The Star Wars: Battlefront sequel will be released during the holiday 2017 period, as revealed by EA CEO Andrew Wilson in a statement to shareholders of the video game developer and publisher yesterday.
The sequel will feature more locations and hero characters than the 2015 original, and Wilson confirmed that the sequel will feature a much-requested single-player campaign.
Wilson also revealed the upcoming game will feature content from ‘multiple Star Wars eras’, rather than just the original trilogy setting of the first game, and specifically mentioned both The Force Awakens and Rogue One as films that have ‘opened new storylines’ in the series.
