Beauty and the Beast trailer is magical

Ok so I've been a bit skeptical of the live action Beauty and the Beast remake, but this new trailer is rather lovely.

It's not quite a shot for shot remake either, with new scenes promised and a reworking of elements. Also the living furniture and accessories look quite different, not to mention a rather more beastly Beast.

Dan Stevens' voice behind the fur sounds great and I'm looking forward to Luke Evans having some fun in the villain role. Emma Watson plays Belle and so far that seems a bit like stunt casting, hopefully it all works out.

It's easy to forget that this is also a full blooded musical, mostly because there isn't a single note sung in the film. There most definitely will be singing in the finished film though. We're also hoping they get to spend a bit more time on the CG of Beast's face, it's a little creepy right now, and not in the way they intended.

Beauty and the Beast is out in March 2017.
