Wonder Woman trailer- DC goes bright and colourful

There's a Wonder Woman on the way, and it's looking to rewrite the rules of the DC movie universe.

It's set in World War 1 (partly) and somehow still manages to make that horrific time look a whole lot happier than all of the movies in this world to date. There are even scenes that take place during the day!

Check out the latest trailer for a few more story hints, some bullet time, and slightly less fighting than in the last one. For shame.

It looks like there's some kind of framing mechanism here at the start of the trailer, suggesting the modern version of Wonder Woman from Dawn of Justice introduces the story in some way.

She's looking like one of the most powerful heroes around, and she's here to try to stop the deadliest combat the Earth has ever known. Of course there's another component with Danny Huston and some lady with a prosthetic face, but the human element is compelling here.

Chris Pine is also on board. Did Diana really need a love interest?

Wonder Woman is out in June 2017.
