Behind the scenes on the new Twin Peaks

These days, its easy to forget just how big a deal Twin Peaks was.

Behind the scenes on the new Twin Peaks

The show was created by David Lynch and Mark Frost with the first episode airing on the 8th of April 1990, and it just about broke television. The strange mystery show set in the titular small town was one of the highest rated series of the year and debuted to critical and audience acclaim all around the world, paving the way for the likes of The X-Files which kicked off in 1993.

Now, Twin Peaks is back and the very first behind the scenes video has been released. Say hello to some familiar faces, and get used to not hearing from Lynch himself much.

Everyone seems really excited about what has been shot, including Irish lady Amy Shiels who has a role which we can't even guess at yet. That mystery includes pretty much the whole new limited series right now, as we don't even know when it will air or how many episodes it will eventually consist of.

And it's actually kind of nice to not have everything explained for a change.
