To that end the company is preparing to get new versions of the Note 7 into the hands of users around the world, and they want everyone to be content that their updated model is safe.

They're doing this in a number of ways, including a message on the box and the ability to pop your IMEI number into their official site to double check here. The latest piece of information suggests that the new Note 7's will also come with another telltale sign, a green battery indicator in the main display.
