The new Apple Watch is faster and waterproof

The Apple Watch Series 2 is a thing, and a pretty familar thing.

That's because Apple hasn't really changed the design at all for its sequel to the 2015 release, instead focussing on performance improvements and making it so you can take the Watch for a swim if you're so inclined.

As you can probably tell, they're pushing this one pretty hard for sporty folks which makes sense given its feature set. There's even a set of Series 2 watches which are being made in partnership with Nike, if you want to go all out on the exercise front.

The processor inside is getting a boost, although oddly Apple is electing to bring the same processor to the older model in the near future. In that case the only thing which really sets Series 2 apart is the water proofing (which will be useful for some) and a newer GPS radio.

The Series 2 Watch starts from €479 and will be available from the 16th of September, 2016. Pricing goes all the way up to beyond €1500 for the new Ceramic model which is said to be much tougher. It would want to be!
