There's an Irish character in the upcoming Mafia III called Thomas Burke. See how many stereotypes you can count in this video about the fella.

Yep, he's Irish alright! He even gets brought on to help lead character Lincoln Clay with some revenge in the form of exploding things, and all the drinking he does also gets a good mention.

Sigh...

I suppose if you're going to have a world as broadly drawn as this made up New Bordeaux you may as well go big with the characters too. At least they've got an honest to goodness Irish fella to play the part in the form of Barry O'Rourke. He's mostly been seen on stage, though he did pop up in The Bill back in the late 80s.

Still Mafia III is looking like an excellent open world actioner, and there are bound to be a few more stereotypes thrown around for good measure. It's out on the 7th of October, 2016.
