Joss Whedon could direct Supergirl/The Flash musical!

In what might be the best news we've ever heard, Joss Whedon could be getting back to directing and also returning to TV.

That Hashtag Show broke the news that the Buffy and Avengers helmer could be directing two musical crossover episodes of The Flash and Supergirl for the new series.

Here's the lowdown.

That's pretty amazing news, and will be sure to warm the hearts of Buffy fans from Once More With Feeling and those who have just been missing his unique work since he got swallowed up by the Marvel machine more than give years ago.

We don't really care if NPH is involved, though that would be fun, just give us more Joss!
