No Man's Sky is cheaper on PC and out tomorrow

No Man's Sky is going down a storm on the PlayStation 4, so much so that the servers are struggling to keep up but while Sony would want you to believe its an exclusive that's not entirely the case.

The game was always aiming at a PC launch, long before the console makers got involved and helped to hype things up to their current level, and that's still the plan. The PC release was delayed by a few days at the last minute to iron out some issues and make the game better.

Now it arrives on the 12th of August and if you've got the specs to spare, which are pretty reasonable, it's a cheaper way to get your hands on a copy. Rather than shelling out close to 70 quid, you can find a copy of No Man's Sky on Humble Bundle or Steam for just €59.99. It might even be prettier and more stable than its PS4 counterpart.

As is always the case with PC games you'll want to make sure your system can run the game before purchasing but it seems No Man's Sky is actually pretty reasonable when it comes to specs. That's probably partly down to its need to run on the PS4 and also some very clever coding by the Hello Games folks.
