Watchmen's Honest Trailer shows Snyder was just warming up for Batman v Superman

There are a lot of similarities between Snyder’s approach to Batman v Superman and Watchmen, as you can see in the latest Honest Trailer from Screen Junkies.

Snyder knows how to polarise audiences and did so successfully with both of these flicks. Plus both are full of the things that you know, and perhaps love or hate, Zack Snyder for.

Watchmen’s world is full of flawed characters, but we’ve never thought of how they mirror characters in other cinematic universes…if they were more of a d**k, as the narrator accurately points out.

And just like Batman v Superman, many people will tell you to watch an extended cut. You know, just in case more than two and a half hours wasn’t quite enough for you.

Zack Snyder is currently working on Justice League; it will be interesting to see how many Snyder-isms crop up there.
