Compilation showcases every Best VFX Oscar winner ever

Get ready for a trip through the annals of Hollywood history. To prepare you for the Oscars, Burger Fiction has put together a compilation reel of every movie that’s been acknowledged for their visual effects.

The video takes us all the way back to the 1920s when things were a little more primitive than we have today. See how visual effects and CGI evolved through the years, all the way up to modern highlights such as Life of Pi, Gravity, and Interstellar.

We’re less than a week from the addition of another film to this reel. There’s some stiff competition this year with Mad Max: Fury Road, The Revenant, Ex Machina, The Martian, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens all in the running for the Oscar.

The 88th Academy Awards will take place on February 28th.
