The Division will have microtransactions

Ubisoft has been working on Tom Clancy's The Division for a very long time, with the first reveal taking place at E3 2013. Almost three years on and after multiple delays, its finally ready to street on the 8th of March 2016.
The Division will have microtransactions

It's set in a world after a virus wipes out much of the Earth's population and it's your job to rebuild - finding allies in the shattered streets and trying to bring humanity back one piece at a time. That sounds very ambitious for a game but Ubisoft knows how to craft open world's and the gameplay looks like it has a lot to offer.

One thing the game will be including is microtransactions. The PlayStation Store listing for The Division has confirmed this, though thankfully they're being listed as optional. That likely means they're cosmetic items which you can pay real world money for and then show off during co-op games which take place in the games 'Dark Zone' areas.
