Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg wants you to go running

Facebook is a great way to stay connected with your friends and family but it's definitely not a way to stay fit, so this new initiative from Mark Zuckerberg is a pretty good idea.

Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg wants you to go running

The company CEO posted a message saying he wanted to run 365 miles in 2016. That's quite a distance but a lot more manageable if you consider it as a mile a day - though no one is going to manage to get out to run every single day.

To keep up the encouragement, there's a public group called A Year of Running which has over 44.000 followers right now and Zuckerberg has said he'll chip in with posts every now and then. 10 to 15 more minutes of exercise a day is something most of us could do with so why not join him on his quest. And you really don't have to run, it's just a little encouragement to get up and out and peel yourself off Facebook for a few minutes every day or so.

Are you up for the challenge?
