Splatoon adds two new arenas

Wii U multiplayer shooter Splatoon is getting two new arenas, Piranha Pit and Ancho-V Games, as part of an upcoming patch.

Nintendo has showcased both maps in a dance-filled video. Both look pretty interesting with some unique quirks and elements to them.

There's no word as to when the update will be rolling out, and when the new maps will be available as a result. However, there is maintenance scheduled for today between 4:50pm and 6pm PT, so perhaps Splatoon fans will have some new locations to enjoy after that.
