I Saw the Light Trailer - Hiddleston is Hank

Tom Hiddleston has a biopic of the music star Hank Williams on the way, called I Saw the Light - and the first full trailer is here.

Williams crammed a lot into his short life, and it looks like the film will over all aspects of it - good and bad. That material likely won't come as much of a surprise to fans of the singer, who passed away in 1953, but the production might have some legs thanks to the presence of the ever popular Hiddleston, who performed all his own singing in the film.

The rest of the cast looks good too, including the always watchable Elizabeth Olsen as Audrey Sheppard Williams and West Wing fella Bradley Whitford as fellow song writer Fred Rose. The film was written and directed by Marc Abraham who is much better known as a producer on the likes of the RoboCop remake and The Man with the Iron Fists. That man has an interesting career.

I Saw the Light will be in cinemas on the 5th of February 2016.
