It looks like the perfect vehicle for the actress, with broad comedy moments and plenty of opportunities for her to shout mean things at other cast memebers. The supporting players are good too - everyone like Kristen Bell and Peter Dinklage is also set to show up, as well as Kristen Schaal.
The only potential stumbling block here is the fact that it comes from writer/director Ben Falcone, otherwise known as Mr Melissa McCarthy and also the fellow who gets hit in the neck with a tennis ball in the trailer. He previously teamed with his wife for the 2014 comedy Tammy, which just wasn't very good. Still The Boss looks like a glossier affair, and who doesn't want to see McCarthy fighting with a whole group of young girls.
