IFI hosts special screening of The Queen of Ireland with Rory O'Neill and Conor Horgan
It's a wonderful film and a unique perspective on one of the most historical moments in the history of the state, the marriage equality referendum which saw couples able to wed regardless of their sexuality. The positive decision has just been made law in Ireland, so it's the perfect time to see the decades of work which went into making it a reality.
For even more perspective on the film, the IFI as organised a special screening of The Queen of Ireland with star Rory O'Neill and director Conor Horgan in attendance. The Q&A will be hosted by Noel Sutton of GAZE - the annual LGBT Film Festival held in Dublin each summer.
