HTC's new handset is the One M9 Plus!

HTC makes great smartphones, but it doesn't necessarily have the same success with its naming conventions. Case in point, their new phone is the HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition.

HTC's new handset is the One M9 Plus!

What does the One M9 part even mean? Who knows, but that + and Aurora stuff basically means there's more included in this handset, starting with the camera. It's been upgraded to a 21 megapixel shooter with an even wider lens and some extra laser auto focus stuff going on on the back of the phone. There's new phase detection auto-focus and optical image stabilisation, so you can expect great photos at least.

Otherwise, the specs are similar to the previously released One M9+ - there's a 5.2 inch screen, 3 gigs of RAM, 32 gigs of storage and an octa-core processor. Those BoomSound speakser are the same, as is the fingerprint scanner and battery.
