Samsung's S Health now free for all Android users

S Health is a suite of fitness stuff from Samsung which has always been limited to their own devices. Until now.

Samsung's S Health now free for all Android users

From today, any Android user can avail of the goodness of S Health, which is mostly about tracking your daily activity and chipping in with helpful goals and advice. It's a handy companion which keeps fitness on your mind, and one of the better such free apps around.

It's good to see Samsung opening up its user base for software, especially as a manufacturer which functioned as such a closed system up to now. They're taking that even further with one of their new hardware releases, with all new Gear S2 smartwatch finally working with non-Samsung devices. It's their first wearable which will interact with any Android handset, and will hopefully see them massively expanding their audience.
