It's your worst Nightmare - a being which can kill you in your dreams, making sure you never wake up in the real world. What you need is a warrior, one well aquainted with dreams. What you need is Leonardo DiCaprio.

Welcome to Inception on Elm Street...

It's a pretty genius mash up wtih some great cross-cutting by whoispablo on Vimeo. And it has the good sense to take that concept, run with it, and get out before it all starts to get a bit annoying. Something which these mashups don't always remember to do.

We'll take this as further honour of Wes Craven, who died last week. If you're not familar with his work he had an enduring impact on the world of horror with a number of clever titles, not least Nightmare and Scream which always had a self-reflexive bent. It's worth checking out The Serpent and the Rainbow and The People Under the Stairs. They're really weird.
