Huawei may be working on double-edged smartphone

Huawei looks to be taking a leaf out of Samsung’s book by working on a smartphone with a double-edged curved AMOLED smartphone. And it’s reportedly getting assistance from Samsung too.

Huawei may be working on double-edged smartphone

The Huawei smartphone, according to PhoneArena’s sources, will come with a Samsung-made curved AMOLED display. This display will reportedly have a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels (QHD), but the size of the screen is currently unknown.

This is certainly an interesting rumour. Huawei is yet to launch a smartphone with a resolution higher than 1080x1920 pixels (FHD). The company has previously stated that QHD displays don’t improve the viewing experience enough to justify the additional strain on a smartphone’s battery and processor.
