Samsung Galaxy S7 might come in two sizes

With the iPhone 6S announced, it was only a matter of time until we heard rumblings about Samsung’s next flagship. It didn’t take long; a rumour from Asia Today suggests that the Galaxy S7 will come in both 5.2-inch and 5.8-inch sizes.

The rumour also suggests that the phones will have at least 4GB RAM, pack a Snapdragon 820 processor, and one of them will feature a 4K screen.

The same source goes on to suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be out before the end of the year.

There are a couple of reasons to be sceptical about some of these leaks. Firstly, the Snapdragon 820 isn’t expected to be used in handsets until next year. Secondly, if Samsung does make the Galaxy S7 in these sizes, it risks eating into sales of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. Finally, these rumours don’t quite match a new AnTuTu listing.

This listing is for a Samsung phone codenamed 'lucky,' which could easily be the Galaxy S7. According to the benchmark, this device has a 5.7-inch 1440 x 2560 screen, a Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM.

The device also comes with 64GB of storage, a 16MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing one and Android 5.1.1 on board.

Meanwhile, a Weibo user claims that the Galaxy S7 will see the welcome return of the microSD card slot.

Naturally, we’d advise taking all of these rumours with a pinch of salt for now.
