Here's the opening video to the new game.
The biggest deal right now is NATHAN FILLION! The Firefly and Castle TV star is right there in all his mo-capped glory, honestly looking a little more svelte than he does in real life. Otherwise this is looking like quite a different Halo game, thanks to the squad-based action and the lack of a little someone called Master Chief.
Not that he's really missed - with a massive action scene unfolding in a single swooping shot it's clear this fire team has what it takes to bring down enemies of all sizes. There's a feeling here not unlike what we get when The Avengers finally assembled in Joss Whedon's 2012 epic blockbuster, and that's a very good thing indeed.
Halo 5 Guardians is all about a whole team of Spartan soldiers who have to work together to locate the missing Master Chief in the biggest Halo adventure yet made.
