Samsung responds on potential Note 5 stylus damage

It was recently reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 had a major design flaw - if the included stylus is inserted into its storage area backwards it could potentially break the handset.

Now Samsung has responded to the report, and has confirmed that if you mis-use the S-pen stylus in this way it could cause problems:

"If you insert the pen in the opposite direction into the Note 5 slot and put force to get it out, it could damage the S pen and the device resulting in malfunctioning. That doesn’t mean that it’s a defective product."
