Skype for Android adds custom ringtones

If Skype’s melodious ringtone is starting to grate, or if you’d like to be able to identify who is calling you without taking your phone out, Skype for Android’s latest update will appeal to you.

An updated version of Skype for Android adds contact-specific ringtones. This way you’ll know immediately if a call is urgent, someone you’d like to chat with immediately, or someone that you can put off for a while.

It’s pretty straightforward to set up a customised tone. In a conversation, tap the lower right and select “Ringtone options” then “Set custom ringtone”.
