Someone at Phone Arena managed to get their hands on both devices to put them through their paces. A strenuous battery life benchmark test found that the Galaxy Note 5 lasted 9 hours and 11 minutes compared to the Galaxy S6 Edge+’s 9 hours and 29 minutes.

Both phones are equipped with a 3000mAh battery and 5.7-inch displays, though the Galaxy S6 Edge+ has its screen curved around the edges.
