Dell unveils rugged Latitude 12 tablet

Dell has announced the Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet, which is designed for those who need their tablets to be able to withstand harsh environments.

The Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet is capable of surviving water spills with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, extreme temperatures, and drops from over four feet.

The tablet features an 11.6 inch Direct-View outdoor-readable HD display with glove-enabled multi-touch capabilities. To ensure that it can work efficiently in severe temperatures, the Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet is equipped with Fourth Generation QuadCool thermal management and Fifth Generation Intel® Core™ M processors.
