VIDEO: Jurassic Park Special Edition adds heels for laughs

Jurassic World is a fun film but it's also more than a little silly. Thankfully now that silliness is set to be added back into the Jurassic Park trilogy.

We laughed a lot at this.

In Jurassic World Bryce Dallas Howard's character wears heels for basically an entire movie where she's running away from things which can eat her. It's just one of the absurd things in an entire film about bringing dinosaurs back from beyond the grave but it is totally worthy of ridicule and the XVP Comedy guys do a great job of it in this video.

There's a great mix of decent effects work and absurdity which makes every frame a hoot, especially when you get to see dinos with stylish footwear. The range of available models is impressive, and they're all really well mapped, but its the sound effects which get us every single time.

Watch it again, its still funny!

Regardless of how silly Jurassic World is, it has now grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide. That makes it the fourth highest earning film of all time, and just five thousand or so behind The Avengers. Daft money, really.
