Samsung may reveal new flagships on August 12

Samsung is apparently a little nervous about Apple’s next iPhone, so much so that it may reveal the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge Plus as early as August 12th.

Samsung has reportedly set up an event in New York to unveil the phone. Sources at Taiwan-based telecom carriers, cited by Digitimes, are credited with this tip off.

These sources also say that the Galaxy Note 5 will feature a 14nm Exynos processor and a 5.7-inch 2K curved display. The Galaxy Note 5 is also expected to offer 4GB RAM, becoming the first Samsung handset to do so.
