Casio will release first smartwatch next year

Casio is working on a smartwatch, which it is preparing to release by the end of March 2016.

Sources told The Wall Street Journal that Casio’s smartwatch will be more affordable than those of other established watch manufacturers. They say that the smartwatch “"won't break easily, is simple to put on and feels good to wear."

Casio’s device will have a bigger focus on telling the time than many other smartwatches.
